The aim is to produce a quality product with a familiar 'Sussex theme', similar high levels of specification but at a much lower weight. It also gives the opportunity to offer some different layouts, previously unavailable, such as the twin bed 'Sussex Loxwood'.

For the models where the layouts are the same e.g. fixed bed end washroom single axle, in the Coachman Special Edition this is the 'Storrington', the Lunar equivalent will be the 'Donnington'. The price for the Lunar is just over a thousand pounds cheaper, but more importantly approximately 200kg lighter. In fact the heaviest Lunar Sussex special will still be lighter than the smallest Coachman special model!

Since the Lunar management buyout two years ago, we believe that Lunar are a company moving to the fore in caravan manufacturing. Given the choice (as we have been) we believe we are now offering the best products from the two premier manufacturers in the caravan industry.
